Royal Cornwall Show opens
The 2010 Royal Cornwall Show has opened in Wadebridge in the presence of the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall, who are this year its joint Presidents.

The show will be open for three days, finishing on Saturday.
Prince Charles is reported to have a persistent chest infection. Despite it he has insisted on carrying out his engagements in Devon and Cornwall this week.
It is understood he will take a few days off at Balmoral next week to try to throw off the infection.
