BHS evacuated after fire

British Homes Stores in Exeter city centre was evacuated on Monday morning after fire broke out in the Fore Street store.

The Fire Service was called and shoppers were quickly moved to safety.

Three fire crews used an aerial ladder platform and a thermal imaging camera to fight the blaze which was confined to an electrical motor in the plant room.
